Job Description

Oracle Business Analyst, Oracle Process Manufacturing

Essential skills:

  • Business Analyst working with Oracle (Min 5 years exp)
  • Experience with Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM), OPM Inventory, Warehouse Management System and Advanced Supply Chain Planning modules.
  • A positive and flexible can do attitude and self-starting ability with the aptitude to take ownership of projects as required and see them through to completion.
  • Proven ability to develop functional specifications.

Preferred skills:

  • Knowledge of Procurement, Order Management, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, GL, Intercompany and Fixed Assets.
  • Third level degree in a relevant discipline.
  • An ability to demonstrate an analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Strong judgement and decision quality based on analysis and experience.
  • Excellent communication with good interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and focus on and meet task deadlines.
  • Willingness to assist in a team environment and to adapt to challenges in the course of achieving departmental and Group objectives.

The Business Analyst role:

This is a permanent role and will require the successful candidate to liaise with business managers and users to be the point of contact for all relevant change requests. This role requires extensive experience with Oracle manufacturing processes and knowledge of financial processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Functional stability of Oracle ERP.
  • Support production requests ensuring issues are fully assessed and incidents resolved in a timely manner.
  • Provide first class support to the Business and drive process improvements, utilising knowledge of both the Business and IT systems and the interdependencies between the systems.
