While I just joined this site, I'm quite experienced at online forum roleplaying. There used to be an online Pokemon game called Pokemon Crater, which had its own forums. I ventured there just for the heck of it, and that was where I discovered this whole wide world of text-based online RPing.That was way back in April '07, and while Crater (and the forums, as well) shut down in December of the same year, I had made a fairly good name for myself in the RP populace in a span of few months. While I was not the best RPer, of course, quite a few people of the top tier of RPing there commended me on my skills. I also had the opportunity to RP with some of the best RPers there, too, along with a brief stint as an instructor in the RP Academy there, and I was quite fortunate to have gotten that. Alas, that came to an end in December.
However, a few of us Crater'ers had relocated to two other sites; Aisenfield and Pokedox. With my friends divided between those two forums, it became difficult for me to be quite an active RPer from then on, as schoolwork too had started to get in the way, as had life. Gradually, my forum visits lessened to the purpose of just staying in touch with my friends, as my RP career slowly faded away. That did not help when I joined college two years later, in 2009.
Things I loved as a child, started to get replaced as life got harder and tougher, and this included RPing on the internet. But of course, things like these are something that I continuously long for, every now and then. And so, I thought, why not give this a try again? Ain't got nothing to lose, eh?
So, that was me going on and on about my RPing history. Hope you didn't get bored, heh. Anyways, I'm now a 20-year-old college man, who's willing to dabble back in this world. Hope my skills are still decent. I'm eager to look into the RP section and I hope that I can devote my time to an RP, if I'm fortunate enough to get accepted.
As far as my interests go RPwise, it's quite obvious, I guess, that I had my beginnings in the fandom genre, but I'll go for anything original as well, if I like the plot. I hope I meet some nice people along the way, as well.
